The next Focus Group Photography meeting will be 2pm on Sunday 5 February 2012. All welcome. Please email info@69smithstreet.com.au if you would like to be inlcuded on the Focus Group email list.

‘End of Times’ is the first group show of the year.
Drop off work at the gallery on Sunday 5th (5-7pm) or Monday 6th (10am-12pm). Cost is $35 members, $55 non-members. Size limit 1.2×1.2×1.2m. Pick up entry form from the gallery. All welcome. Show runs 8 – 26 February.

There are still a couple of exhibition spots available for the first half of 2012. Send a proposal through to info@69smithstreet.com.au if you’re interested.

The next Focus Group meeting will be 2pm on Sunday 4 December 2011. ‘Focus’ is a photography group that was establised two years ago to meet, share and discuss photography. Each year (usually in June) we have an exhibition at 69 Smith Street Gallery. The theme for 2012 is songs by Leonard Cohen. Stretch your imagination- collect your ingredients! Show us your

recipe for disaster, recipe for success, a recipe for cakes – or

anything you care to cook up (or paint/sculpt/photograph etc up).

 And to celebrate the end of our members’ successful years we will be having our Christmas party. 2pm to 6pm on Sunday 18^th December (You can pick up any unsold work at this time).
And to add spice to our Recipe we will be having a People’s choice prize to be drawn at our Christmas Party!

Everyone is invited to put work into the next show – ‘FOG’
It can be a literal or conceptual interpretation of the title.
There isn’t much time so get painting, drawing, collaging, photographing, fogging.
Exhibition runs from 27 July to 14 August – you can do it!
